During the spring, summer and fall the Club organizes one or more weekend hiking outings, primarily in Gatineau Park, but sometimes on the NCC Greenbelt trails, or maybe within a short drive from Ottawa.
Our hikes are usually full day outings, varying from less than 10km to over 20km. The trails in Gatineau Park vary considerably, both in surface and elevation change. Some of our outings may be quite flat on good surfaces while others will be on rough trails with rocks & roots on the surface and lots of steep ascents and descents.
In the summer season our hikes may include swim stops.
