We are extremely fortunate to have Gatineau Park in our backyard and this makes for a great location for our regular weekend activities. Sometimes, however, it is nice to have a change of scenery or a new challenge.
The Club organizes several out of town trips each year. These are always within a day's drive of Ottawa and typically are for 2 or 3 nights away. Accommodation, meals and outdoor activities are organized by the Club and members have a great opportunity to enjoy themselves and get to know each other better.
We have regular annual trips to Frontenac Park, Spectacle Lake (just outside Algonquin Park), the Adirondack Mountains in New York and the White Mountains in New Hampshire. We currently have a working group that is looking at organizing more trips in Canada and are checking locations in the Eastern Townships and Laurentians.
