Although the Club is primarily an outdoor adventure club, it is also a place to make friends. The Club hosts several social events during the year in order to provide opportunities for members to get to know each other better in a more relaxed environment. Typical events include:
- Winter social at the Royal Oak in New Edinburgh,
- Summer picnic at Brittania Park,
- Movie nights, and
- Potluck suppers.
