Old Champlain Hike

Champlain Lookout

Distance:  11k    Hike duration:  ~6h    Pace:  moderate     Ascent:  ~400m

From Hollow Glen, we will hike up to the Champlain lookout for spectacular views of the Ottawa River and return via the Old Champlain Trail.

Although a moderate hike in length, be advised that there will be some steep ascents and descents and that this will be a 6h hike. For these reasons, I would consider this hike, a “moderate plus”.

Eye protection and whistle are mandatory.

Meet at the Supreme Court at 9:15 for 9:30 departure.
