More Music in Manotick

Brooks & Bowskill Concert
Here's a chance to enjoy some great music while supporting a good local cause.
Music: Brooks & Bowskill are a Canadian wife & husband duo. Their genre-bending music journeys between folk, country-rock, rock and roll, drenched in 1960’s/70’s nostalgia and stamped with their own unique sound.
The Cause: Proceeds from this concert will be going to Watson's Mill in Manotick to help them purchase the Dickinson House museum and Carriage Shed from the City of Ottawa (read more here).
The venue is Manotick United Church which is a beautiful heritage building in the centre of the village. The church makes for an intimate performance space and has great acoustics.
If you plan on attending then you may also be interested in a pre-concert drink, and perhaps some food, at the Mill Tavern which is located just across the road from the church (and serves great fish & chips). You can indicate if you are interested in this option when you register and I will book a table accordingly.
Our dinner reservation will be for 5:30pm. Doors open at 7:00pm and the performance starts at 7:30pm. There is limited parking at the church itself but plenty of street parking on the side streets and a large parking lot at the village shopping centre just west of Main St.
If you plan on having dinner please register by Friday 26th as this will be the last opportunity to finalize the restaurant reservation.
